Telehealth Policy

Caleyo Wellness offers virtual visits for eligible services. This page explains how telehealth works here, what to expect, and how information is protected.

Purpose of telehealth

Telehealth lets eligible patients meet a Caleyo Wellness provider by secure video or remote communication when an in-person visit is not required. Virtual options are part of weight optimization and wellness pathways. An in-person first consultation is preferred when a hands-on assessment is needed.

Eligibility and clinical judgment

Not every concern is appropriate for telehealth. Your provider decides whether a virtual visit is suitable based on your history, the service requested, and whether an exam, procedure, injection, infusion, scan, or other on-site care is required.

If telehealth is not appropriate, we will help you schedule an office visit at 120 East 56th Street, Suite 920, New York, NY 10022.

Privacy and security

Telehealth visits involve protected health information. Caleyo Wellness applies the practices in the Privacy Policy, including HIPAA-oriented safeguards for PHI. Join from a private place and avoid public Wi-Fi when you can.

Scheduling or video platforms may be used to hold the visit. Those tools have their own privacy terms.

Technology

You need a device with a working camera and microphone, a stable connection, and a supported browser or app. If technology prevents the visit, contact the office promptly so we can reschedule.

Consent, emergencies, and limits

By scheduling a telehealth visit, you consent to care through remote communication for that appointment. Telehealth has limits compared with an in-person evaluation. It is not for emergencies. If you have a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.

Prescriptions, referrals, and care plans remain subject to clinical judgment, applicable law, and practice protocols. Recommendations vary by person.

Scheduling, cancellation, and payment

Telehealth follows the scheduling, cancellation, and payment expectations in the Terms & Conditions, including the 24-hour cancellation requirement where it applies. Payment may include cash, credit card, and financing such as Cherry where offered for eligible services.
