    What is Kybella®?
    Kybella® is an FDA-approved injectable made from deoxycholic acid, a naturally occurring molecule in the body that helps break down and absorb dietary fat. While originally approved for submental fullness (under the chin), it is increasingly used off-label by aesthetic providers to reduce fat in other small, localized areas of the body.

    How it works:
    Kybella® works by permanently destroying fat cells in the treated area. Once destroyed, those cells cannot store or accumulate fat again — offering long-term sculpting when paired with a healthy lifestyle.
